About Dan Schultz

Dan is a self-professed photography nerd. From a very young age, he discovered his love for snapping pictures and has been developing his eye ever since. His first camera was a Canon Rebel G he purchased after a summer spent toiling behind a lawn mower. It certainly paid off, because that camera gave him the idea that he could eventually make a living doing what he loves most. He completed commercial photography school at the top of his class where he fine-tuned his skills and made contacts that still help him every day. After graduation he hit the ground running by landing a job working with CardioMems. The lessons he learned during this period were invaluable.

Dan now shoots and produces many large projects for world-class brands like Yamaha and AT&T and works with celebrities like the always lovely Paula Deen. Passion for his craft and his growing experience has made him into a versatile and effective high-end commercial photographer.

A sponge for learning, Dan applies everything he's picked up to each shoot, no matter the scale. He enjoys the creative process and believes Photoshop to be an artist's tool, not a crutch. When he's not earning a living with his camera he's sketching out shots or reading about his art, readying himself for the next challenge and hoping you're the one to bring it to him.
